What Is Holding You Back?

Thousands of years ago, in the ancient world, the use of magic was widely accepted as a normal part of everyday life, as was open sexual intimacy.  To the ancient people of these forgotten times, the holding of 'magical and sexual power' was the ultimate way to transform your life and to control destiny itself.


The people sought out ways to access magical Goddess knowledge, wisdom and power and used this to manipulate the magical forces of the universe to manifest their goals, needs and desires.  They visited the sacred Temples to petition the Gods and Goddesses through the Temple Priestesses, who were the keepers on earth, of this great power and wisdom.

The Temple Priestesses of the Goddess Inanna offered Psychic and Oracle advice, Magical assistance and Healing to the people of the lands, through the use of sexual and non-sexual magical rituals and spells and the use of crystals, oils, herbs and spices.  They also taught people how to harness magical energies to bring about change and healing.  The people knew the immense power of love and sexual energy and it's expression was offered freely among friends.

According to the ancient Sumerian tablets, the Goddess Inanna, known as the 'Goddess of love and sex' and 'Queen of Heaven', was the deity responsible for the giving of the 'me' (untranslated but meaning 'laws and techniques of') of magical and sexual Divine Goddess power and wisdom to the Temple Priestesses and through them, the people. She loved caring for and looking after them and felt that they needed and deserved the opportunity to live happy, prosperous and harmonious lives.  She saw that they had the potential to learn and to grow, unlike some of the other Gods and Goddesses, who wanted to keep the Temple Arts, including that of sex and magic, a secret.

Despite the time that has passed, the people of this ancient world, had the same everyday concerns then, as we do now.  They used magic to find and keep love, to maintain a fulfilling sex life, to overcome afflictions of the body and mind, to secure a good job, to grow wise, rich and wealthy.  They accepted those drawn to others of the same gender and understood the beauty and power of this.  They attended the Temple's of the Goddess Inanna to learn from the Temple Priestesses how to enhance their psychic awareness and how to speak directly to the deities themselves.  Not much has really changed.

What has changed is the fact that over time, we have forgotten that magic exists at all.  We have forgotten that magic works and that it is available to for us to use.  We have also forgotten how to truly give and receive love and blanked from our hearts and minds the immense naked healing power of sex.
We have learned to accept our lives as they are, without question, simply putting on brave faces in an attempt to cope with what our lives throw at us.  We have been convinced, by those in power who do not wish us to know, then by the people around us, that life is life, that happiness is down to 'good luck' and 'fate' and that sex is forbidden and dirty.

It is only in recent years that we have gained the freedom to choose how we live our lives and what we believe in.  Only now are we beginning to remember what we used to do and what we are capable of.  The light and love of the Goddess is returning to humankind and with it the power and wisdom to create the life we want.

So if you lived in these ancient times, what would you have done?  What would you have asked the Temple Priestesses to help you with?  What would you have petitioned the Goddess Inanna to help you achieve or sort out?  Would you have suffered with frustrating ongoing problems whilst watching the people around you get exactly what they wanted and what you felt you deserved?  No?  Of course you wouldn't!  So why should it be so different now?

It is only your frame of mind that is holding you back, nothing else.  Why not make a choice now, today, to be powerful and wise?  Why not make the decision to get back in the driving seat of your life, gain control of those situations and people who have sought to control you?  Unless of course you don't want to?

We all have the potential to achieve greatness, this ancient Goddess magic is available to everyone, including you.
